Interim management – new opportunities for businesses

All busi­ness­es con­sist of a vari­ety of socio-tech­ni­cal process­es that fre­quent­ly inter­act with one anoth­er. If a process changes, it most­ly affects one or more oth­er process­es. The most impor­tant ones are termed key process­es and occu­pied by key posi­tions with budget/staff respon­si­bil­i­ty. We dif­fer­en­ti­ate between the fol­low­ing processes:

Inter­im man­age­ment is a tem­po­rary mea­sure in the respec­tive process lev­el of a com­pa­ny. Inter­im man­age­ment gen­er­al­ly serves to bridge short-term vacan­cies or intro­duce an opti­mi­sa­tion or mod­i­fi­ca­tion process to the business.

A good inter­im man­ag­er can become acquaint­ed espe­cial­ly quick­ly with busi­ness process­es. Thus, the appoint­ment and famil­iari­sa­tion process can take place very quick­ly and effi­cient­ly and with no pecu­liar­i­ties or risks in terms of employ­ment leg­is­la­tion (fee-based instead of employ­ment contract).

The tasks of an inter­im man­ag­er are gen­er­al­ly per­formed on a tar­get or results agree­ment basis so that the client or busi­ness own­er can have the high­est secu­ri­ty pos­si­ble when the tasks are being per­formed and the goals are being reached.
